Create Social Sets and connect, move, or manage connection status for X, LinkedIn, and Threads accounts.
Connection
Connect a new social account
To publish with XPlanner, connect an X, LinkedIn, or Threads account to a Social Set through the secure OAuth flow.
Open Account Settings > Social Sets.
Select the button for the platform you want to connect.
Choose the correct profile or page in the authorization window and approve the permissions.
When you return to XPlanner, check that the account appears in the list.

Choose the right active Social Set
Ideas, folders, media, posts, and calendar data are filtered by the selected Social Set. Content created in the wrong set appears under another brand context.
Open the Social Set selector in the top bar.
Choose the set where you will create content.
Check the X, LinkedIn, and Threads publish targets in the post editor.
When preparing content for multiple clients, check the selected Social Set before every action.

Disconnect or move a connected account
Disconnecting removes the account from its Social Set while preserving identity snapshots for historical publish targets. Permanent data deletion is a separate action that requires explicit confirmation.
Open the relevant account menu inside the Social Set.
Choose Disconnect or Move to another set.
Confirm in the move warning that previous posts and drafts will remain in the old set.
If you want permanent deletion, separately approve the data-loss summary.
A disconnected account keeps its name and avatar in past posts; reconnecting the same account to the set reactivates the historical target.
How will the guide be updated?
When a new user flow occurs, this section is added as a new page to the same docs structure.
When the display language changes, the actual button and title names are checked again with Playwright smoke.
